The dish
Six tacos. Six fillings. One plate. Designed for first-time guests who can’t pick — and for regulars bringing a friend who can’t pick. Each taco is a half-portion of the regular taco, so you actually taste them all without filling up after the second.
The plate rotates fillings depending on what’s freshest in the kitchen. The default six are Asada (beef), Tinga (chipotle chicken), Pastor (marinated pork — non-pork option swapped to chorizo for halal-only tables), Birria (slow-braised lamb), Mushroom (rajas-and-mushroom for veg), and Frijoles (refried bean). Tell the kitchen if you want substitutions.
Why we make it this way
The Sampler is the dish that gets us the most “we’re back to try the rest” return visits. It works because each filling is given its own properly seasoned tortilla, not just dropped in shells from a single mix.
